Grow with us as a European Media Buying Manager. You will manage and co-ordinate the buying of all media activity across EMEA for Kellogg Cereal and Snacks, ensuring the media plans are executed on time and correct approvals/payments and processes are followed. Track budgets, campaign buying delivery and agency media buying performance, working as part of central media team.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As European Media Buying Manager, you will be part of our success by:
Coordinating the buying of all media plans for Cereal and Snacks across Europe, ensuring processes are embedded to ensure accuracy, clear sign off and timing.
Ensuring timing/execution of plans are aligned with cluster marketing, signed off by the CBU's and booked on time
Coordinating and update media budget trackers and manage changes working with central media team and cluster marketing
PO creation (through the Marketing Op's admin resource) and manage major invoice issues with agency, working closely Finance team
Supporting the development of annual media budgets, budget submissions and budget trackers working with central media team and finance
Managing delivery of post campaign reporting for media buying, ensuring KPI's are met
Monitoring agency buying delivery for productivity (cost and quality) ensuring commitments are met. Manage rebate delivery.
Co-ordinate and manage media auditing, using to ensure agency buying delivery verses market Qualifications: WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
Ideally educated to graduate level or equivalent with good understanding of media operations. Experience working in media agency or at advertiser, finance background also helpful.
The ability to partner and work with cross functional teams is important, as is delivering a quality service to internal customers. Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail are critical to role.
Good communication skills written and oral, being able to share opinions/analysis in simply and effective manner. Able to work remotely as part of multi-site team and as part of broader marketing team.
Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to build “long distance” relationships is essential.
Must be fluent in English
Additional European languages advantageous as is experience of working in a European environment.
